This allows a snug fit in the crib and a convertible crib is coverted to the toddler stage by removing the front rail of the crib, the front section of the bumper is may be removed as well, leaving three sections in the toddler bed. The quilt is 36X45 100% polyester minky fabric, that is both very soft and luxurious. While any blanket should not be used inside the crib until the child is 12 months the quilt can be used as a floor blanket, a swaddle blanket outside of the crib, a carseat or stroller blanket, or simply as a throw.
